Poster Candlelight Memorial 2012

The poster for the 2012 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial on 20 May 2012 is now available. The theme of the 29^th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is Promoting Health and Dignity Together. The theme aims to raise awareness around HIV and to promote respect for the human rights of people living with HIV.

The theme is inspired by the Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention framework which is a people-centered and human rights based approach to the HIV response.

Candlelight Advocacy

The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is committed to ending HIV by raising awareness and advocating for the advancement of effective policies at all levels. The Candlelight Advocacy Platform is inspired on current thinking to improve the HIV response.

This current thinking includes the UNAIDS strategy Getting to Zero: Zero AIDS related Deaths, Zero new HIV infections and Zero Stigma and discrimination, and the Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention framework as driven by the movement of people living with HIV.
